To download means to transfer a file from another computer to your computer. The following is a maintenance release of M.I.S. Clinic from DataCom Software's World Wide Web site. Most Web browsers are set up to automatically handle a file download. Your browser will usually ask what you wish to do with the file after clicking the download link. Tell the browser to save the file to disk, specify the location to store the file, and the download will begin.

Recommended Machine type

A Pentium 3 computer or better with one hundred-twenty-eight megabytes of ram is recommended with the minimum of a Pentium CPU and sixty-four megabytes will be the base of operation.

* Installation of Maintenance

To install the M.I.S. Clinic Maintenance, double click on the file MISC_12.EXE when running Windows Explorer tm.  It is essential that the existing \MISC directory is selected.    When the program is started the first time a conversion will start and upgrade the existing data to be compatible with the new MIS Clinic program.  A total of thirty megabytes plus three times the largest file size of free disk space is recommended to operate efficiently.
